Using notch EQ to fix a squeaky pedal in a chamber orchestra

I was mixing a chamber orchestra concert recently, and I ran into a couple issues that I wanted to address in the mix. Sometimes the mics amplify sounds that you might not notice sitting in the audience. In ths performance, there were some squeaks from a vibraphone pedal and some overtones from a clarinet I wanted to masssage a bit.

With a notch EQ, I was able to smooth both of them a bit.
